Keep the Local Data Company by Symantec

Computing security software company Symantec, since April 2011 and has opened an office in Indonesia led by Darric Hor as its General Manager. After starting a business in Jakarta, Symantec is now ready to explore three major cities of Indonesia.
In a meeting with several media, on Thursday (08/03/2012) in Jakarta, Hor Symantec declared readiness to enter the city of Surabaya, Medan and Makassar.
As Symantec business before, in three cities, California-based company is still targeting the corporate segment in selling security software.
Hor has a big challenge of having to educate local businesses about the importance of maintaining data security enterprise computing.
"Security issues in Indonesia is the largest computing data loss," said Hor currently based in Singapore.
He also admitted, most companies in Indonesia do not realize the importance of secure and minimize the risk of data loss company from external attacks.
In Indonesia, a maker of Norton antivirus is working with Metrodata and ZIES to distribute Symantec products.
