Quench XT3 runs on Android 1.6 (Donut) compared with the original Quench based on Android 1.5 (Cupcake), though both versions are way behind the current 2.2 version. Motorola® told that the software "will be able to be updated in the future", but didn't say if, or when, the firmware will be updated. While running Android 1.6 is a bummer for some, the Quench XT3 does bring a decent set of features and a handsome design to the table for an entry-level Smartphone. Its Achilles' heel is the choppy touch screen, which wrecked our entire user experience. The Motorola® Quench XT3 is available in Singapore at a retail price of S$468. The phone is also out in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
