Information technology : Computer Systems Hardware & Software

Information technology until now growing along with the discovery and development of science in the field of information and communication. It is able to create tools that support the development of information technology, ranging from communication systems through direct communication tool as well as two-way (interactive).
Computer is an electronic device capable of receiving, processing and storing data, and generate output form of text, images, symbols, numbers and sounds. In operation, shape, and function of the system, the computer consists of 2 (two) parts: hardware and software.
1) Hardware
To meet the need for trending information, people always to develop the hardware to support it. To accommodate this, man created a variety of tools that support these desires. Computer hardware devices can be grouped into input devices (didntaranya: Keyboard, Scanner), the process (such as: CPU), output and storage devices (including: monitors, and printers), and a data storage device (such as: CD-ROM, Compact Disk, Floppy Disk, Hard Disk). Details on perangat computer you will gain also in module 3.
a) Keyboard
Keyboard is a tool to enter data or commands to the CPU (Central Processing Unit). The keyboard usually consists of a series of letters and numbers.
b) Scanner
Scanner is a tool to enter data such as images / charts and turn it into a digital form that can be processed and combined with the form data in the form of text.
c) Central Processing Units
Certral Processing Units (CPU) is
tool that serves as a processor (processor) data. CPU is a series of circuits that store instuksi-processing instructions, and temporary data storage.
d) Monitor
Monitor is a tool that is capable of displaying text and images from the data that is processed in the CPU.
e) Printer
The printer is a tool to produce output data (output) print, whether it be text or images / graphics.
f) CD Rom
CD Rom is an additional tool (peripheral devices) capable of storing and writing data and programs through media Compact Disk (CD). The tool is designed to be able to write and read data or program through optical systems.
g)  CD/DVD
Compact Disk (CD) and DVD is a storage medium that is made of plastic material. The process of storing and reading data using an optical system.
h) Floppy Disk(discontinued)
Floppy Disk is an additional tool to save or write the data to disk or vice versa. Commonly used measure of the size of 3.5 inches.
i) Hard Disk
Hard Drive is an additional tool to store data in large capacity magnetically coated.

j) USB Flash Disk

2) Software
Software is a computer program that contains a set of instructions that are created using a special language. Program as it gives commands to the computer to perform various operations / processing of the data contained in the program or the data entered by the user computer. In short the software is a 'soul' while the hardware serves as a 'body' in a computer.
In general, the software can be classified into 2 (two) classes are system software and application software. Discussion specifically about the software you will get on another occasion.
