E-Commerce System

The development of a highly progressive communication technology provides many benefits for all countries in the world, including Indonesia. One of the real contributions given the technology of E-Commerce. Technology E-Commerce is a system that facilitates the sale and purchase transactions online. Implementation of E-Commerce has proven to provide a sustainable positive impact for transaction efficiency, costs, and broader marketing reach.
The development of E-Commerce also spawned its own consequences when associated with regulatory and ethical dimensions of communication technology. The issue or issues surrounding the ethical and regulatory dimensions of E-Commerce raised in this paper is the issue of security and privacy.
This paper aims to identify security and privacy issues considered as a main problem in the world of E-Commerce. In addition, this paper also made to emphasize the importance of applying ethics and regulations in the use of various communication technologies, particularly the use of E-Commerce on the Internet.
Theoretical framework or foundation on the ethical dimension in the development of communication technology refers to the ethical principles contained in the works of Joseph Straubhaar Media Now, David LaRose and Lucinda Davenport and "The Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics"
The methodology used is sourced literature in books, journals and articles that are relevant to the problem.
This paper focuses on the identification and implementation of ethical issues related to the regulation of the activity of E-Commerce with emphasis on case studies in Indonesia, as well as the solutions that may be applied to resolve the issue. In addition, the analysis has also been conducted on the effectiveness of the implementation of regulations related to e-Commerce in Indonesia and the formulation of policy recommendations for policy makers and strategy to stakeholders.
The conclusions and suggestions will emphasize the urgency of the collaborative efforts of stakeholders who are directly involved in the activities of E-Commerce (producers, consumers, regulators and innovators in the field of information and communication technology) to improve the regulation that facilitates the activities in the world of E-Commerce
